Windows 7 Pro, Finale 2020 (newest version)    When inputting chord clusters on the last beat of a measure in Speedy Entry, the cursor advances to the next measure after each note of the chord, even though there are still more notes to input in the previous measure.    If it is the final measure of the piece, Speedy Entry keeps adding a new measure beyond the end of the composition.    Finale 2014 did not do that.

Take a look in the Speedy menu.

 

In my own Finale version I see Speedy menu items such as

Jump To Next Measure

Create New Measures

 

If you have those two menu items, try de-selecting them.
