Windows 10, Finale 24.5

Finale is constantly shutting down on me, up to four or five times in a session.  It either says 'Finale encountered a problem and will shut down' or 'Finale encountered an error and will shut down'.  Fortunately I can restore with the backup file but I need to switch back to scroll view and resize each time.  On a new piece this morning I simply went to the tool-bar to check midi or VST before even entering a note and it shut down on me.  Not positive but it seems to happen when I click on anything in the tool-bar.

Have you restarted the computer? Recreated the preference file?

In addition to Mike's suggestion, what is your computer configuration like? Are you running low on RAM or HD space?

(I am guessing you mean you have Full Finale 2014.5.)
