I have Finale 25.5, using on a Mac OS Mojave 10.14.

I have an orchestra score, and where I added strings (via the score manager) they are playing back as percussion.  I tried selecting "all" then "clear selected items", chose "non," then chose "midi data". (which has worked for me before) but no luck.  The violins sound like whistles and drums.

I had also recently had another score string parts change to percussion sounds (fine one day, then the next with this weird playback) but that one does fix with above method.  There are no percussion parts at all in that score to begin with.  One day when I opened it, only the cello was affected.  Today when I opened it, only the violin was affected....

Lastly, I have other string scores--just as recent--that are unaffected.  Any clue?
