Hi, I am trying to import a MusicXML file from Capella Software (by the way the easiest music scan software i've seem) to Finale V26 on my MacBook running Catalina OSx.

The scan is high quality and the import works almost perfect. The score itself is brought in without any issues and recginition of notes and special notations are perfect. The problem aim having is the following:

The score is a hymn with a Treble and Bass clefs with double voices in each. SOPRANO and ALTO on the treble clef and TENOR and BASS in the Bass clef.

All the notes in the score matches perfectly with the PDF i have from the scan that created teh XML, however when i play the score in Finale the voices (layers) 3 and 4 for the Tenor and Bass wont play.

They are there, but if i change to note edition mode for instance and change to layers 3 or 4 you see that finale done recognize those voices, if i change to layers 1 and 2, then yes, Finale find them, therefore when i play they dont sound.

If i go and add them back manually with Finale and play again then i will hear the notes.

It must be something i am doing wrong when importing the XML because i reached out to Capella support and send them the xml file and they said they loaded fine on their Finale V26 too.

Any help would be tremendously appreciated
