Finale v26 Academic on Windows
How do I add measures middle of piece. I tried different ways but they're always added at the end.
This is a matter of “Finale-speak”.
When you Add measures, the measures are always added to the end of the document.
What you need, is called Insert (not Add).
1) Selection Tool.
Double-click the measure that should be the first measure after the inserted.
2) Edit menu > Insert Measure Stack…
