When using playback in Page View (Book Style, Row), after the music moves to a new page, the playback cursor appears on the wrong system.
macOS Catalina, Version 10.15.5
Finale 26.3.0.634
And this issue is isolated to that particular Page View Style - right?
The issue does not appear in e. g. Looseleaf Style: Current Page Only - right?
Is it document specific, or does it happen in all Finale documents?
By The Way:
Recently users here in the forum reported a bug in v26.3.0.634 (crash when leaving the Chord Definition dialog box from any other text field than the Chord Symbol field).
Here in the forum we are used to seeing such bug reports shortly after a program update.
And usually MakeMusic will quickly release a bug fix update.
Actually, now that I tested this, this also happens also in Looseleaf Style: Current Page Only. The cursor gets to the last system of the first page, the page turn happens, the music plays normally (top staff of the second page), but the cursor is appearing on the bottom system. After a system of music, it finds its place aligning with the music again.
This happens on other documents. The glitch always takes place after a new page is displayed, and it consists in the cursor maintaining its previous vertical position, whatever that happened to be on the previous page. If the last system of page 1 was in the middle of the page, then, when page 2 is displayed, the cursor stays at the same place on the page, even if there is no actual staff there. (It just moves along on a blank part of the new page.)
