Adjusting Garritan patches

The bassoon sound is straight in Finale Default Bank, GPO, and Personal Orchestra 5. Lots of bassoons I've heard play with a vibrato. Is it possible to edit the bassoon patch to give it vibrato?

There might be a way to modulate a bassoon in a DAW to simulate vibrato, but in Finale? No.

The Aria controllers that appear to control vibrato on the Bassoon Solo patch (GPO5) have no apparent effect.

CC#17 is the vibrato control for the Garritan Solo Bassoon. Unfortunately, it’s not mentioned in the Finale manual.

This page mentions how to use some MIDI controllers in the Aria Player. I don’t know if you can make CC17 work but you can try.
