Windows 10, I have Finale 2007, but am asking about the newest version. I want to know if this feature exists before deciding on whether to purchase the upgrade or not.
I print using standard 8.5x11 areas for a set or system of staves, but in two different ways.
(1) Simple: sequence of single pages, single sided, on 8.5x11.
(2) "Booklet": onto tabloid (11x17), with two "page areas" per side, and two-sided w/fold on short edge, in such a fashion that when folded down the middle, the sheet music is in a "book" or "booklet" form. I'm not sure I have the right name for this.
Does this option exist for PDF? Or do I still have to export the individual pages to another software and arrange them appropriately for this form of printing?
Example: suppose the sheet music has 12 pages, numbered 1 through 12.
Page 1 side 1: Left 12, Right 1
Page 1 side 2: Left 2, Right 11
Page 2 side 1: Left 10, Right 3
Page 2 side 2: Left 4, Right 9
Page 3 side 1: Left 8, Right 5
Page 3 side 2: Left 6, Right 7
This is such a common way to print--it would make sense it were an option. Does it exist for the latest Finale version?
