MacCatalina, F26 but has been an issue for several versions of Finale and OSes.

 

Is this a bug, or I'm I the problem?

Saving as PDF,  if another Finale file is minimized, the save PDF dialog takes the name of the minimized file, not the current file.

It happens in both 'Print to PDF' and 'Export as PDF'(via Graphics tool)

Is there an easy solution?

This is an old issue. I don’t know if Win only but I’ve not experienced it. Neither do I know if there is a workaround or resolution.

 

I’m tied up and not able to search the site right now but there are old threads on this. Use the Search box at the top of the page and see if you can find them.
