Hi, I'm on a Mac OS High Sierra 10.13, running Finale 26. I currently have no sound at all with SmartMusic SoftSynth when I try to play Finale through MIDI. No matter the settings or combinations of settings, no matter the window (audio setup, audio unit banks and effects, midi setup, score manager, etc.) I do have midi signal coming in (I can enter notes via the MIDI controller), test audio output is ok, etc. I don't understand.

Here is a stab in the dark:

 

Check the volume slider(s) in MIDI/Audio > Banks and Effects

 

Sometimes the sliders (at least in Windows) reset to zero (far left). It doesn't happen often, and I have no idea why it does, but I have experienced it twice and found it easy to miss.
