This is pretty specific, so bear with me

In the text tool, a Text block that has a page range (say page 2-5)

If I click the handle, Text>Frame Attributes... is greyed out

If I lasso the same handle, Frame Attributes is available.

Text assigned to a single page does not behave this way. Frame Attributes is always available.

I'm trying to build a Keyboard Maestro routine, and access to this menu is required.

Is this a bug? or is there a reason?

I, too, am using Finale v26 in Catalina.

Unfortunately I am unable to reproduce your problem.

When I click the handle, Frame Attributes is available.

I wonder whether the issue could be a screen display issue.

You can view the Finale document in more than one zoom percentage.

100 % zoom is not the only option.

- What zoom percentage are you using?

- Have you tried several zoom percentages?

Try "control click" or "right click" on the text block handle. It should display the pulldown menu where you can select frame attributes.

Nice catch Peter

The problem occurs at zoom levels =< 164%.

I think...

That's not going to be useful for KM.

well, the 164% threshold is different on different files.

But the zoom level seems to be a factor.
