Individual Notes in Triplet

WINDOWS 10, The latest FINALE version (11/19/2020)

My problem is that when there is more than one note played at the same time (chords, clusters) I cannot make changes (pitch, accidentals, etc.) to individual notes...the entire group of notes changes when I try and alter one, single note.For example: if I have a major chord and wish to make it a minor, when I lower the third a half step, all the notes of the chord go down a half step. I have tried going into UTILITIES / CHANGE / TUPLETS but don't seem to find anything to remedy this.

What about cluster chords that are not part of a tuplet, can you change an accidental in those chords?

It works for me, you just have to make sure the cursor is directly on the note you want to change. If it's off by a little, then all notes in that chord will change.

Nothing to do with tuplets. That would be triplets, etc. I believe you are asking how to select a note in a chord.

On a Mac, I select the chord, and then CMD-up or down arrow moves me to notes within the chord. Windows must have a similar feature.

I have no problem with individual notes in chords/clusters outside of the Tuplet function. When it's in Tuplet mode all the notes light up (highlight) at one time and react as one unit and I can't figure out how to highlight just one individual note at a time. It's very frustrating because if I want one note to lower or raise a 1/2 step, they all lower or raise as a unit. There's got to be some setting that's making this happen but, for the life of me, I just can't seem to figure out the trick! Oh well, thanks for your comments anyway.

Can you post an image (screenshot) so we can see the situation?

I can choose the eighth in simple entry and change its pitch with the arrow keys. Mind you, I choose the eighth with the Simple Entry eighth-note tool (not with the selection arrow).

(In such a case as this, I might have saved some time just clicking the pitch I wanted with the repitch tool.)
