Hello,

I'm getting inaccurate playbacks of some of the dynamics I've entered. So I went onto the editing section on the Expression Designer page and changed the key velocities on playback to try and get the dynamics to respond on playback much more noticeably. The result of that was that it only works sometimes. Other times I'd be expecting the strings to play ppp (very soft) and am not getting that dynamic level at all....it's playing back as though I entered F (loud). I have already set up the key velocities. There also is an undesired "swell" in volume on some of the instruments - so instead of a piano (p) level I'm hearing piano (soft) swelling up to Forte (loud) on long notes & I didn't ask for that . 

Another thing that's not happening is in the percussion playback. I'm not getting the crash cymbals to "cut off" abruptly - even if I enter a staccato marking or an eighth note rest immediately after the crash notation.

Could someone tell me what I need to do to get the playbacks to respond better in regard to these problems ? Thanks very much in advance for any help
