I would like to start a web site. Were I can promote my own compositions and arrangements. Is there a reasonably inexpensive programs?

Websites running on Wordpress are pretty common, and I had a Wordpress blog, so I was pretty comfortable working with it. For better or worse, that's what's running jeffreyquick.com. One you get your backend set up, you should be able to do almost everything from WP. 

It's the setup that's the issue, what your server likes, and what their level of security is. Webhosting is cheap, but if they aren't dedicated to keeping you clean, it's a problem. I'm paying obscene amounts of money to SiteLock to keep people from messing with my site. I have HostGator, and they try to be helpful, but the last time I had an issue, I arrived at the answer before they did.
