I have Windows 11 and have Finale 2014.

I am no longer permitted to print out PrintMusic files that were mademade years ago.  I am told a "grace period" has passed.

I paid for this software and these files represent 15 years of work!  How do I become able to print out my several thousand old les?

Thank you.

Bad news and good news:

Paying for the software 12 years ago has nothing to do with anything. MakeMusic has been out of the notation business over a year. This is a Users board and MM has allowed it to stay up.

PrintMusic 2014 is not only 12 years old but it is 32bit—unsupported in Windows 11. There are ways to make some 32bit apps work in Win11. Don't know if PrintMusic is one of them but Google is your friend here.

Here's the good news: Your PrintMusic license is eligible for a $149 crossgrade to Dorico that includes a license for Finale 27, the last version ever. Finale 27 will open your PrintMusic files—you can continue to work them in Finale or export to Dorico via MusicXML 4.0 with tech support (Dorico, not Finale).

Interestingly, though Finale support is gone, the HTML manual is not but I find that browser AI often gets me better answers more quickly.
