I gave up these forums one year ago. Has there been any change in MMSs lack of resposiveness? The feature list of F27 indicates a very limited - if any - communication with end users.

If anything, it's gotten worse. The PTB at Finale seem to have their own agenda about the customer base's requests, comments, and needs.

Confirmed in other threads. Many of the usual beta testers were not involved in this release. Likewise, many of the Community Experts, all of whom are volunteers are not exactly feeling the "27 love" either.

That said, I'm liking 27 more than I did 26.

A lot of what Finale has been doing overt he past two or three versions is to update the code to 64-bit and to modularize the program in such a way as to allow flexibility in the future. Part of the problem is Finale's commitment to continue to support legacy files. If one has not listened to Finale Manager Jason Wick's podcast with Scoring Notes a few weeks ago, it is worth a listen.
