Windows 10, Finale 27

Long time user (since '96 or so)

Just added FIn 27.

Although I have clicked the "Use This Tempo" when recording in Hyperscribe, the click always goes to the playback tempo (default 120).
Of course, I can keep changing the playback tempo in order to record, and then returning it to the tempo I desired for playback. but, needless to say, this is VERY annoying.

For some reason, the "Use this tempo" button in the "Hyperscribe/ Beat source/ Playback and/or click" does not register.

Am I missing something?

If there's a MIDI command setting 120, it will override Playback. If there's an Expression, it will override MIDI. Many threads on this. Clear Expressions and MIDI — now Playback tempo will work.

In the Hyperscribe tool, "Use this tempo" (for recording) + entering a value still worked in Finale 26 (Mac, in my case), associated with the correct beat value.

Double check all these parameters in the window. I hope you have not discovered a new bug... !
