Does anyone else using Big Sur have this issue?

Staves are missing until I load sounds and refresh screen in 27?

that's a new one! Send it in to tech support, so they can add it to the pile.

Thanks Mike. Oh they’ve got a nice long letter with screenshots and a list of issues from me to sort through. I think you are right about 27 being a rushed attempt to get a new version out. For the most part, 26 works much better than 27. A refund or guarantee of a working version in the future from make music would be a welcome gesture though! I used to be a finale endorsee/ artist here in Australia until Alfred started making me and other endorsees pay for upgrades and the program started having buggy issues. I’ve been using finale since 1997 and I still love and believe in the program but I just hope that the developers read and act upon some of the issues I’m bringing to their attention as I’m not a novice user and I know what should be working and what’s not working now. I’ve recently downloaded the demo to Dorico and I like what I’m seeing actually. The guys and gals that wrote for Sibelius really have a potential winner here I think. I am considering a move over to Dorico once it can demonstrate that it can do what I need as I rely heavily upon real time and selective tempo hyperscribe to do my charts and compositions.

cheers! Andy
