Hi,

Up until F26 increasing the space between a pair of composite time signatures from which the plus sign had been removed (for instance, to place parentheses around the second one) was a reasonably straightforward affair. However, in F27, when you get to the point of increasing the font size between the signatures in Document Options>Fonts>Notation>Time Signature Plus Sign>Set Font nothing at all happens regardless of what font size you try.

MM confirmed this problem but have no solution and suggested I post here. Has anybody else noticed this?

Does this problem occur regardless of whether you are using the SMuFL or legacy style documents?

What you describe, is what happens, if you replace the plus sign with a “zero-width” character.

Have you tried using a “nonzero-width” (space) character?

Thanks Ben and Peter, brilliant! I was wondering if I had the wrong space character! All good now!
