MacOSCatalina 10.15.7

The end of the Hokey Pokey has two claps.  the last word has an extension I can't delete.  It goes through the two words I have to put in to show stamps.  How do I get rid of it?

Have you tried putting the extra two notes in a different layer and hiding the rests? Roughly something like...

In the Lyric window, choose Edit Word Extensions. Click in the handle at the end of the extension, and drag it back, or DELETE.

 

Or, you can put a hidden grace rest where you want the extension to stop.

 

If you can post a screenshot of the problem, we can give you better suggestions.
