Simple entry tuplet definition questions

I am having problems trying to enter a measure (4/4 time) where I want to enter a 16th note triplet (three 16th notes) connected to a triplet containing (1) 8th note and (1) 16th note (triplet). My measure is then completed with (1) 1/4 note and a 1/2 note rest.

Any idea on how to get this done?

I am working with Windows 10.

What are you having a problem with? How are you entering the notes?

Set your definition to 3 sixteenths in the space of 2 sixteenths.

What is the logic? Am I missing something? What happens if I want to input a triplet using only 1/4 note and an eight note (triplet)?

Then set it as 3 eighths in the space of 2 eighths. Resist using “use current value” or using equivalents, like 3 eighths in 1 quarter.
