Where can i find lists for each of the following ... Expressions, Articulations, and Smart Shapes categorized as follows
1 Play back without user programming
2 Require user programming
3 Do not play back

No such animal, as far as I know.

That's been my experience ... but there should be an animal of this type

The problem with this as I see it, the answer depends on what sample library you're using. If you're using Garritan, then certain expressions work without any programming, but if you're using VSL or EastWest, then these might require user programming to work.
