Win10, Finale 27

Hello,

Trying to add articulations to cue notes on a drum staff. The cues are in layer 4 and were created with the plug-in "add cue notes".  I created a new staff style "slashes with cues" as well.  Layer 4 is selected.

When I add articulations they show above the cue note as expected. I can drag, nudge, edit, delete, or any function. If I scroll the page horizontally or vertically the articulations disappear completely - no handle or anything.

I can't find anything in the staff attributes or anywhere that would control this behavior.

Any ideas or is this a bug?

My first guess would be that the culprit is your custom staff style.

Does your custom staff style "slashes with cues" show articulations in all layers?

By default the staff style Slash Notation does not show items in other layers.

You will have to select them yourself.

Thanks, Peter.  

That was the problem. I had overlooked that setting on the custom style. The articulations then showed up.

 

Behavior is weird though. The symbol shows until the screen is moved.
