Issue:

Using the key switches going from say, legato to marcato, the volume 

of the notes is truncated. Or, writing eight or sixteenth notes I get the same result.

I've made sure to place my key switches correctly so they line up perfectly with the target notes.

(I've tried different places in the beat etc...). 

I've explored the violin control panel over and over using different settings but

to no avail . I'm just not getting the results I think GPO5 is capable of producing. 

I've been using GPO5 now for a long while so I know I'm missing something.

I think Marcato (in the GOS Strings) uses Note Velocity for dynamics, rather than CC1, because it's a fixed length sample. So, if you're still sending CC1, then you might see a drop in volume.
