Windows 10/ printmusic 2009

Please help, I am a long-time  aged,76, arranger.  I forgot how to shorten stem

Lengths but have been able to do so in the past.  Anyone😅

I don’t think you can. I don’t remember any way to do that in PM, nor is it mentioned in the user manual.

The User manuals for PrintMusic 2010, 2011, 2014 are online. They all tell how to flip stem direction but nothing about changing the stem length.
