I just re-installed Finale 25 but when I open files they are covered with big black forte marks, making them illegible

My operating system is MAC, "Big Sur."

My system was wiped because of a hack. I believed I was being helped and that I had finished the installation. Now I find I can't write or retrieve any music.

Finale installation is pretty seamless. Just keep answering "yes" to any questions!

Mike - Thank you. I will try your suggestion.
I guess I was just too anxious to remember to get the person's name. He directed me - it was all pretty obvious. I'll let you know how this goes.

I don't seem to have gained anything by this - I downloaded the file suggested but I don't see the new font pack.

I just tried it, and it worked for me. Did you download the correct file? The downloads were at the bottom of that page.

Finale 25 is not compatible with Big Sur. It’s time to upgrade to 27.
