Dear all,

I have problems converting my music file into Tabloid (11X17) PDF file in Finale 27:

1) I don't have PDF option when I go to: File > Export > PDF.

  1. ) My printer doesn't have the Tabloid size, so I can't convert the file in my printer option.

We need more info:

Windows or Mac OS? - What version?

I wonder whether you have tried the Graphics Tool?

 

Graphics menu > Export Pages…

Did you try the Graphics Tool - as I suggested?

 

I do not understand why you are asking about

File > Export > PDF

Are you perhaps looking in the wrong manual? (like the manual for Windows Finale)

You can also use the Save as pdf in the Print window on the Mac (not "true black" apparently, though)

Anyway, note that the paper size (and orientation) has to be defined in File -> Page Setup. There are many paper sizes available, even custom.

(Page Format -> Score should be correct and applied with the Page Layout Tool -> Redefine Pages -> All pages)

In the Print window (where you decide which score and parts you wish to print), you should have the correct paper size, too.

All of this will affect the pdf that you create.
