2017 iMac. High Sierra 10.13.6 Since installing Finale v26 I'm having to enter all articulation manually for each not rather than using meta tools. With older versions this works automatically.

I found the solution. By using the Special Tools tab I was able to change only the note heads I wanted with out effecting the other layers.
