If you reverse the layers you have pictured, you will get what you want. Selection Tool > Right Click on Measure > Move Layers, layer 1 into 2, 2 into 1. You might have to reset the stem directions...

I've never heard of a Finale User Group anywhere, but it would be an excellent idea. I'd suggest you contact someone at Berklee College of Music, for starters.

I use Finale 2012 with OSX 10.11.6 very successfully. The only catch is that using Human Playback will cause a crash. If you can live without HP, it's worth a try.

I would go to the Score Manager and mute all voices except Soprano, then make the audio file. Repeat the procedure for A T and B in turn.

Go to the Dynamics Category, click the Edit Category button, go to the Music Font tab and make your change there.

Save the file as mp3 audio file (File Menu > Export > Audio File). Burn the mp3 to disc using iTunes.

There are 2 versions of the plugin - 64bit for Finale 25 and 32bit for older Finale versions. Make sure you have the 32bit version. Also, be sure to restart Finale after you install the plugin.

Make sure the Finale window is active and "has the focus". You can click on it to do this. Ordinarily, as long as you're working continuously in Finale you should not lose focus.
