I was a skeptic at first but since I bought it and have used it for quite a while now I would not want to be without Perfect Layout. It should be a standard feature included with Finale.
You need to realize if there isn't enough space it isn't Finales fault. The suggestion about "clever use of Layer 1 and Layer 2' is exactly what I do.
