That's not what I get. I also find that (after I type in the measure with a tied sixteenth) selecting the measure and running MIDI/Audio > Retranscribe also produces the result I illustrate above

JD, while you are correct that moving a file from F 2012 to F 25 will almost certainly dump all expressions into the Misc. category, if Richard is used to working with F 2012, he may be comfortable...

To amplify what Peter has said, what have you checked as far as dotted rests are concerned? Even though the screen asks about rests, the quantization applies to notes as well.
