Did the problem occur after you upgraded to Windows 10, or have you been able to use Finale 2010 with Windows 10 without problems in the past?
Okay, you say you are using Finale 2010. What operating system (what version) are you using?
If you have a version of full Finale 2014, you can use that to scan in the music even if you then edit it in Finale 25.
