I recently lost a ton of Finale digital files when my home network crashed.  Is there a way for me to scan paper copies of my Finale scores back into Finale?

Indeed it is possible.

You will have to use some Music OCR software, to make the transfer from optical scan to music data (MusicXML).

Try e. g. Sharpeye or SmartScore.

If you have a version of full Finale 2014, you can use that to scan in the music even if you then edit it in Finale 25.

In Finale 2014 - use the SmartScore scanning interface (File > Import > SmartScore Lite Scan)

If Windows, that's how you do it. Mac users need to scan using Image Capture.app and import from there.
