You dragged the trill all the way out?

Okay, so no luck on the articulations trill attempt.  Using different instruments, different libraries (garritan, play), scroll or page view results in just a single measure of trill.  Using the smart shape, I can get the whole 4 measure trill, but  cannot seem to control sharp or flat 

As Mike said, use a Smart Shape.

That does the trick, thank you.  I was trying to get the trill through the SmartShape/SmartShape Options/Smart Lines Select menu, but as I said, no playback.
