I have a MacBook with El Capitan that is unable to be updated to a newer OS. As the current version of Finale is unable to run on my OS version I was wondering if a Finale 2014 download was still available that would allow us to trial it. Is there still a download for Finale 2014 somewhere?

Not officially. They have always said that they had no older products available. However, those of us who purchased and registered older versions are still offered the opportunity to download versions back to 2012.

 

So it might be worth an email. 

You can still download PrintMusic 2014 (for Windows only) but I don’t know if it’s a demo, or the full PM. And PrintMusic is not nearly the same in its feature set.

Use the Submit a request link at the top of the page. Support has officially ended for 2014, however.

On the web, you may still find Finale 25, which works on El Capitan.
