Please add the program and version you are using, to your signature in the control panel. I suspect you have what we call Virtual Stuck Key Syndrome. Normally, a reboot of the computer fixes it.

First thing to try: restart the computer. If that doesn't help, export the piece as XML, and re-import it. Beyond that, rebuild the preferences.
