Inconsistent Playback with the Tapspace Xylophone (Plastic Mallets)

The Tapspace Xylophone (Plastic Mallets) sample in the Garritan Instruments for Finale currently have  inconsistent playback every other note. This can effect both rolls and initial strikes as the volume will appear quieter on some notes. You can download and replace the attached VDLite Xylophone (Plastic Mallets).sfz file to resolve this issue. 

Choose your Operating System for installation instructions:

Mac

1. Download theVDLite Xylophone (Plastic Mallets).sfz file attached this article and save it to your Desktop
2. Open a new Finder window
3. Select Go to Folder...from the Go menu
4. Type "/Applications/Garritan Instruments for Finale/Programs/013. Tapspace Percussion/Pitched Percussion/" (without quotes)
5. Press Go
6. Copy and paste the VDLite Xylophone (Plastic Mallets).sfzfile from your Desktop to this folder
7. Select Replace
8. Enter your password and press OK

Windows

1. Download theVDLite Xylophone (Plastic Mallets).sfz file attached to this article and save it to your Desktop
2. Press the Windows Key + R to open the Run window
3. Type "C:\Program Files\Garritan\Instruments for Finale\Programs\013. Tapspace Percussion\Pitched Percussion" (without quotes)
4. Press OK
5. Copy and paste the VDLite Xylophone (Plastic Mallets).sfzfile from your Desktop to this folder
6. Select Replace
