On macOS, the keyboard shortcut COMMAND+` (Grave Accent) switches between the document windows of the app you're using, including Finale. On macOS 12 (Monterey) and earlier, this shortcut cycled through open Finale documents infinitely.
Starting with macOS 13 (Ventura), COMMAND+` continues to cycle through open Finale windows when using the selection tool, although not infinitely. Instead, it stops once you reach the last active document.
To return to a previous document window, you can cycle windows in the opposite direction using SHIFT+COMMAND+`.
At this time, it is unclear if this behavior is caused by changes in Ventura, as versions 26 and 27 of Finale are not affected by this in macOS 12 (Monterey) and earlier.
An additional workaround is to combine all open Finale windows into tabs by selecting Window > Merge All Windows. You can then use CONTROL+tab to cycle through each tab infinitely.
