If you are viewing an individual part that has originated from a larger score, you may find that some measures may be missing. Below are some workarounds to restore those missing measures. 

 

Note that this process works best when starting with the original score file in order to work with the linked part. However, this may also work with extracted parts as well:

  1. Open the affected part (Document > Edit Part if linked).
  2. Select the affected measures using the Selection tool icon 
  3. Right click (Windows) or CONTROL-click (Mac) the selected measures, then select Mutlimeasure Rest > Break.

If this does not restore the missing measures, you may also choose to regenerate the parts from the original score by choosing Document > Manage Parts in the dialog box that appears, click Generate Parts.
