Finale Technical Support Has Ended

Additionally, we continue to offer Dorico Pro crossgrades for purchase to eligible Finale & PrintMusic license holders.

This issue is resolved in Finale (Version 25). If you are experiencing this issue in Finale (Version 25), please contact Customer Success.

 

There is a known issue with Finale 2014.5 that can prevent changes to Finale's preferences (e.g. MIDI Setup, Preferences Dialog, Palettes, etc.) from saving.

 

Our developers are currently aware of the issue and are working to correct this, but in the meantime use the following steps to ensure that your Finale preferences will save:

  1. Choose Finale 2014.5 > Preferences.
  2. Make your changes to the Preferences dialog.
  3. Choose the Save & Print category.
  4. Select Save Preferences When Quitting Finale.
  5. Click Apply and OK.

Finale's preferences should now save when closing the program.

Follow
