With the release of Finale v26, we have implemented a fix for NotePerformer 3 that resolves a latency issue that delayed the sound of a note upon entry. There is still an issue with latency during playback that causes a one second delay from the starting point. This is something that we are addressing and hope to have a permanent fix for in the near future.
We are also aware that when using the Garritan Instruments in the same document as NotePerformer, there will be a one second latency for the Garritan Instruments during note entry. Playback using both will remain normal and there will not be any timing issues between them though. This issue is also something that we plan on addressing soon.
