When using Finale v26.3.1 on macOS 11 Big Sur, there is a cosmetic issue with the Playback Controls. This will prevent the Playback Settings expand arrow from being visible while in the macOS's Light Mode. The expand button can be interacted with however, and will expand to the Playback Settings as expected. The button displays and works normally in Dark Mode.
In the image below, the red square indicates where the the button should be visible. By clicking in this area the Playback Settings will expand and the button will be visible as expected. To close the settings, click the same area.
