As of Tuesday, August 26th, 2025, we're no longer accepting new technical support requests.

You may continue to download & authorize registered Finale products for the foreseeable future.
Additionally, we continue to offer Dorico Pro crossgrades for purchase to eligible Finale & PrintMusic license holders.

In order to utilize the Garritan libraries in Cubase, verify that the proper ARIA Player Components are installed in the VST Plug-In folder to which your host program is pointing.

Windows:

VST 3 Plugins

  • C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3
  • 32-bit VST3 plug-ins on 64-bit Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\VST3

VST 2 Plugins

  • C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins
  • C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VSTPlugins
  • C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST2
  • C:\Program Files\Common Files\Steinberg\VST2
  • 32-bit plug-ins on 64-bit Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steinberg\VstPlugins

You can also manage the specific folder that you'd like to use for VST2 plugins with the Plugin-in Manager (Devices > Plug-in Manager > Plug-in Manager Settings).

Mac:

VST 3 Plugins

  • Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST3

VST 2 Plugins

  • Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST

VST 2 plugins are disabled by default in Cubase 14 (and later). You can enable those by taking the following steps:

  1. Open Cubase
  2. Select Studio in the menu
  3. Select VST Plug-in Manager
  4. Click the VST 2 button

Cubase will automatically scan for VST2 plugins but you may need to restart the program if they're not immediately available.

Please note that the CFX Concert Grand and CFX Concert Grand Lite libraries do have VST3 components at this time. You can view and follow our VST3 support for CFX Concert Grand and CFX Lite article for more information and future updates.
