As far as I know, yes. The purchase price of PM should be deducted, more or less, if you upgrade to the full Finale, even at the student discount.

But I would suggest you check with customer support, to be sure. AND GET IT IN WRITING!

I currently have two mac computers with 2012 Finale installed. The newer one is Sierra OS. The older one is running on 10.11.6 (El Capitan).   Can I successfully upgrade to Finale 25 on either or both of these, or do I need to purchase Finale 25 as a new program?  And will my scores from previous versions of Finale all transfer?  Thanks for help!

Yes, 2015 should run on both computers. You can purchase the upgrade, and install and authorize it on both computers.

All of your files will work in the new version.

As long as you are the registered user, you can log into your account and upgrade from there. Some of us had problems upgrading in the Chrome browser (myself included)—best to use Safari or Firefox for that,

Your 2012 and earlier files should open fine, Some third party fonts and plugins may not behave but most are also fine.

Your license lets you authorize up to 2 computers but you may only run one at a time.
