I just tried entering the code and realized that the autocorrect on my Mac put a space between NO and FOOLIN. Check the message and if there's a space, you can delete it and apply again. It should now work. It did for me.

This is the message I get: Sorry, there are no upgrades to Finale available on your account at this time.

I think that's the same message I got, but that was because there was a space that had been inserted into the code when i typed it in. Can you see the code in the box with the error message?

Other than that, might there be some issue with how your copy of 2014.5 is registered? 

A couple of things: Autocorrect can be a problem.

Try a different browser. Chrome is known to have problems with upgrades. Firefox, Safari and I.E. work fine.

I need to pugrade it from my old 2011 version.

My earlier admonition about the Chrome browser applies. When upgrading, use something else. Chrome is usually ok but there's something in the upgrade process that it doesn't like or vise versa  

Also disable antivirus and port blockers until the upgrade is complete for smoothest results.
