So I qualify for the student discount price of $99, but I want to know if this package comes with all the same features as the $600 package. Also, if I pay the student price, how long will that be valid for and how much will it cost to upgrade?

If you re buying full Finale v25, yes the only difference would be the student discount.

Any further upgrades would be at the standard pricing. (However, I'm not aware of any $99 price. Are you sure about that? As far as I know, the student price for the full Finale is about $350.)

If your institution has different pricing, you will go through your school for access to its license.

 

Although Finale 25 will have the same functionality, institutions control access to a site license. You won’t be able to move your copy to another computer without contacting the license administrator and MakeMusic will not be able to help you with that. Likewise, it probably won’t show up in your MM User Account (I’m guessing here). Otherwise, you will be using the same versions we have.

 

The general public does not have access to this $99 student price we hear about. I can only assume that you need to go through your school or an EDU reseller.
