Could be. What good is the regular price if no one ever pays if?

The entry level products are gone (Mac) or going away (Windows). A company has to increase the user base somehow.

i certainly hope that these are not steps to a Subscription model. 

Is the BLACKFRIDAY17 code only available for US customers or it's a worldwide offer? I am from Greece and Finale 25 at just 149$ a great bargain...!

No problem, this is what confused me because the shop is worldwide accessible but the offer is on for US customers...(?)  It is a little strange to me, I think that it is the first time I encounter such a limitation on an offer..! 

So, no Finale 25 for 149$ for the rest of the world...
