Our school system like many others uses laptops and docking stations for our teachers. We have docks in our offices and in the rehearsal space connected to a ViewBoard. With v26 I have to close the program before removing it from the dock otherwise when I reopen the program it is frozen with a message saying audio engine failure. This also typically means I have lost any work that I have done if I forget to save. Is there any way to fix this?

Have you talked with your school's DBA or Tech Administrator about this. He or she might understand how the network setup might affect disconnected Chromebooks. I know I would never advocate unplugging the computer from any peripheral while running a program, at least until I understood the implications.

We have HP laptops, not chromebooks. I did not have this problems with previous versions.

"Audio engine failed to load". All of my other programs including SmartMusic just revert to the default audio player.
