I've just paid this vast amount of money to get Finale as I am used to using an older version that's no longer available to me and I couldn't face learning to use one of the free systems such as MuseScore.  However, I now find that the finale wreckers have been busy justifying their existence again and I am expected to go through a huge retraining exercise in order to use the current version.

Formerly, in order to move a system I could simply select a bar in "measure" and click the up button.  No longer apparently.  I suppose I will have to go through the whole system tutorial unless some kind person can give me a hint?

Choosing a measure with the selection tool (arrow cursor) and pressing the up arrow still works for me on Finale v 26.

Still works for me, too.

Are you talking about moving a measure to a previous or following system, or moving a system to another page? Two different situations; two different solutions. To move an entire system, make sure that there is enough room, and that there is no page lock. Then, you can use the staff tool to drag the system up, until it snaps to the precious page.

You may have to reduce the bottom margins of the previous system to make space for the next system. Everything is done in the Layout Tool.
