I just downloaded the software for MAC os 10 and the software will not load. I can open old leadsheets that I had created with my old PC. It will allow me to play the music but not edit. The page comes up and then the player, and a few other boxes just go to the top and to the side of the screen. It won't show up as a whole.
Once I close the sheet music down and click the icon, nothing will load.
I've removed and reloaded the software, and still get the same results
Are you trying to run Finale 2014.5 on Mac OSX?
A few ideas:

> Try plugging in a pair of headphones to the back of the computer. On some Macs, Finale won't run if the input jack is not being used (!)
There are many threads on this but you can't see them in the New help center.
What Mac do you have? This is important as there's a bug that affects Minis and the New Mac Pro.
If a Mini, plug a jack into the Audio In.
If a new Mac Pro, have an audio interface connected and on.
If it's neither... well, it's normally one of the above.
